Taipei City Government organizes the Taipei International Design Award (TIDA) in the ethos of “Design for Adaptive City”, as an on-going gesture to the world, particularly to those with a passion for creativeness and design, a gesture in projecting the urban branding imagery of “Design Taipei; Dream Taipei”.

Posterheroes is an international contest about social communication that calls for poster 70×100 cm about social and environmental themes. Every year, Posterheroes invites students, professional designers or people passionated in graphic design, to realize a poster about topics of social interest. All the works are judged by a selection panel composed by some of the most relevant experts of the graphic design and communication field.

The Ecuador Poster Bienal® is an international competition and event focused on cultural, social, academic and professional values.

In today’s society, the communication of typography design between countries around the world goes along with the development of media. The growing amount of information received by people accomplished the formation of the over-all situation that the typography design collision of different countries is more intense. How traditional typography design enhance advantage and avoid disadvantage under the influence of other countries’ typography design is a very important part for the development of typography design. How to inherit the advantages of the traditional typography design, combine with new methods, new techniques and the typography design
advantages of other countries to redesign has become the main purpose of this design contest. Chinese and English are the two most widely used typography in the world, this contest aims to the design of Chinese and English typography.

在当今社会，全世界各国字体设计交流伴随着媒体的发展，人们对信息接收量日益加大，成就了各国文字字体设计碰撞更为激烈的大环境。传统字体设计如何在它国字体设计影响下，扬长避短是文字设计发展很重要的部分。如何传承传统文字设计的优点，结合新方法，新技法及结合它国文字设计优点进行融合再设计，就成为本次设计大赛的主要目的。中文与英文是世界上使用最为广泛的两种字体，本次大赛针对中文，英文字体设计。
